I really liked the part where you say writing is helping you develop:
The act of writing has helped me to develop some skills.
The first is the ability to read works on different topics and better understand the work putting me in the author's place.
The second is to analyze my own attitudes and the world around me more clearly.
I feel the same way, writing so constantly like this is helping me a lot, not only is the aspects you mentioned, but also to communicate more clearly, my vocabulary is getting a little bit more sophisticated, even when speaking, because I think of the beginning, middle and end of what I'm gonna say before I say it.
