Since ancient times there has been a yearning for the creation of a super soldier, one who has no desires, has no dreams, is not afraid and is able to follow order without question.
That would be the description of a person without an ego, a metaformosis that doesn't suffer and doesn't have an opinion, looks like a robot right? It's not what many youtuber and other influencers think that they keep telling people to kill their own ego and become something other than to achieve their goals in life.
Even the richest people in the world like Warren Buffet have an ego, who doesn't know the story of him buying a bankrupt company to fire a guy and exact his revenge? He himself admits that nowadays he would be richer if he hadn't, but would he betray himself? Of course not.

Maybe if you are a president of a country or have a family and other people are depending on your actions, you should swallow your tears and shake hands with your enemies and smile, otherwise you won't.
Of course there are some people who would never shake hands with an enemy as a matter of principle, but would pay a price for it. Here's the question, would you be willing to pay the price to keep your ego?
Apple co-founder Steve Jobs was known to have strong positions that led to his resignation from his own company, but he revolutionized the world with his smartphones.
In conclusion I must say: Don't trade your essence (who you are) if you are willing to pay the right price, after all this is your only life. But recognize when you're wrong...
POB Word of the Week : Ego #008, @calumam
When I was a kid, I wanted to be a super soldier without feelings like agent 47 (hitman). But even agent 47 has an ego.
Yes true ! Everyone has an ego.
Thanks !
