Have you ever seen a very large old tree by the side of a road or when you were in the middle of a wilderness, sometimes the trees look lush and creepy, or they even look lush and refreshing. Would you believe if I could make a tree like that with a larger size. small and cute, hahaha sounds like a crazy idea right? but that does not mean impossible, then let me explain the process.
Selection of trees
First for beginners, you need to make a selection of tree trunks that you want to make objects. You can buy at an ornamental plant shop or you can immediately search in the wild. for the maximum selection I usually look for in the forest or on the riverbank, because of the formation of these trees It looks more pure in terms of the shape of the old trees, because if it is sold in a shop, it is a material that has been formed manually by human tools.
Selection of plant media
This small plant certainly requires fertile planting media or soil, therefore the soil you want to use must be composted. The right plant media will determine the fertility level of the small tree.
Starting the Adaptation process
Next, plant the trees into a pot or soil medium, leave it for a few days to get these trees adapted to their new media. Flush with water sufficiently, and must be done frequently, or repeated and scheduled.
Making tree branches
To make a tree branch look like an old tree, of course you have to do the shaping manually using a wire wrapped around the tree and start bending it in the direction to produce a shape like an old tree, requiring high skill and creativity at this stage. because it is not arbitrary for good results.
How to care for mini trees
1.Water the tree regularly
make sure the plant media or soil is always moist so that the tree looks fresh and has the nutrition it gets.
Do tree watering in the afternoon regularly. Do not let the soil dry out because it can cause death to small trees.
2.Apply fertilizer
In addition to water, this plant also needs fertilizer, but it must be according to the right dosage, not too much because it can make the tree leaves dry, the use of organic fertilizers by spraying is more recommended for the long-term survival of these plants.
3.Laying plants
Put it in sufficient sunlight, sunlight will help the photosynthesis of these plants. For plants that are still small, don't put them in direct sunlight because it can make the leaves dry.
4.Pruning plant leaves
It is very important in this process because to produce a small tree, regular pruning 2 times a week is highly recommended, because if it is left unchecked, the leaves on the tree will look lush and neglected, making it look unattractive.
5.Pest Protection
Check and treat regularly, because plant enemies are pests that can kill them, plants affected by pests usually have damaged leaves and look pale, do treatment 2 times a week to anticipate pests.
The photo above is an example of a small tree that I planted myself. With regular checking and proper care it will produce a good tree.
