I think that I would definitely give it a go @tobetada, new adventures are worth experiencing. But I am not sure about a rooster crowing at 1am though, that is very early for a rooster, I thought they were up and out at about 5am. .
But, then I am a optimist. It is great to see new touristy ideas being put into action by friendly people on Kos Island.
The best thing about this type of holiday accommodation are the fun memories. Keep enjoying your holiday.

thank you! Yes this surprised me as well! But he was not alone, there were 3 or 4 other ones in the neighborhood and they all seemed to be in a competition :/ But the cricket sounds are really nice :)
