Lol stop dreaming! Back in 2017, early 2018 when Steem was at $6 and everyone was thinking they were going to be full-time authors or bloggers lol. Those dreams lasted about one and a half weeks.
No I won't ! I like dreaming. I'm a full-time student, working part-time to pay the rent. It's pretty comfortable to have a reliable income. I'm not quitting anytime soon.
I'm very close to finishing my degree. At that point having a little bit of money on the side, will give me some room to breath and be a bit more picky with the jobs I take afterwards.
Considering everything I know about crypto, I won't ever rely on it. I try to keep moving some of my portfolio into more stable coins like Bitcoin and ETH. If I reach a certain goal I made up in my head, I will also start cashing out into FIAT. Only if I had a lifechanging amount of FIAT, I would consider to quit working.
But I like imagining how my life would look like, if things keep growing like that. It's fun and harmless as long as I don't let it influence my life decisions.
Yeah, i mean it depends on which country you're in but it would be hard for crypto earnings via blogging to make more than a job in Europe/USA or even parts of Asia.
But as they say, don't let your dreams be dreams.
Don't quit. Work part time on your dream while you work full time on your job, but eventually you can work full time on your dream and part time on your job. You should stay productive, and keep earning. Then you can invest more.
I agree. :)
There is a reason I measure my weekly earnings in %. I expect them to grow exponentially and I won't risk the compound interest, by cashing out into FIAT, this soon.
I speak Portuguese...I'm not sure it's helping me, but maybe it is and I don't realize it...hmmm... You're right...don't quit your day job, unless you have another job lined up that pays more, then yes...quit the job. I haven't read enough of your stuff to know where you live, but your rent sounds cheap compared to what I pay in California...but then again, that's true compared to most places outside of California...
All that to say, congrats on your increases! Keep the thrill going!
Thanks. Haha the Portuguese part was a call-back to a joke in another post. :)
Yeah. I'm a student. I pay a bit less than 400$ rent for a little studio apartment in Germany.
I actually saw the other post :) $400 for rent is great-reminds me of my college days 20 years ago. I paid 375 for one bed in a shared bedroom. There were 6 guys in the front of the house, 4 in the back and 2 in the basement. The owner was raking in the cash! I pay 6x your rent for my mortgage payment now...but I absolutely love my home!
