Yesterday I had my examination on Partial Differential Equation. In one of my previous post I told that Calculus is one of the most vital branch of mathematics. Mathematics is the queen of all science. And I think calculus is the quren of mathematics. I am telling such because I think almost all brances of not only mathematics but also any science need to study about calculus. Calculus is the mathematics of finding the rate of change of anything with respect to any other thing. And both must be related to each other.
In previous two year, I had some course on basic and advanced calculus. In the course of calculus, we have some important issue of solving a differential equation. Differential equation is the equation that includes at least one differential terms. There are two types of Differential equation.
Ordinary Differential Equation (Which includes ordinary differential terms)
Partial Differential Equation ( Which includes partial differential terms)
Anyway in B.Sc (Honours) part-2, we had to study about ordinary differential equation. And in part-3, we have to study about partial differential equation.
There are many criteria we have to face when we try to solve a differential equation. We have to strictly follow order and degree of the equation, homogeneous or non-homogeneous, linear or non-linear, exact or not, surface on where the equation is situated etc. There are different rules for solving equation eith different criteria. So obviously we have to study a lot about so much criteria. But still solving differential equation is one of my most interesting subject in mathematics.
However, I have faced the examination on Partial differential equation well and am very optimistic to get a good marks. My next exam is on c++ programming language. So please keep me in your prayers. Thanks to all.
