A Reflection Of An Open-Ended WOTW🧠

I’ve had a few good chuckles over the past few days at the confusion of some people regarding @calumam’s WOTW.

I understand that having order and having determined boxes in which to work from is a pleasant experience even when there is complete freedom in the writing part of the project. Yes, we like being lead and having something to work with. It’s our human nature to enjoy it. Order makes us feel comfortable and safe.

So no wonder people were very confused and even slightly panicked about the vagueness of WOTW.

It was an invitation to REALLY use your brain.

Some panicked.
Some were confused.
Some flourished.
Some froze.

An intriguing experience to say the least.

A space emerged in which your individuality appeared and showed itself through the action or non-action that you did or didn’t do.

Your reaction shows a very distinctive way of thinking for yourself and it is something we can all reflect on.

It brought a clearness to the community in showing the way people’s brain work.

There is no doubt in my mind that Cal is testing us (in a good way) and is keeping a close eye on the reactionary nature of everyone.

Let me reflect that I am in no way judging what anyone did. I am just taking a peek at how our minds work differently and how that is expressed on here.

I believe there is no right or wrong here.
Just us humans doing our thing under a microscope.
That’s all!

Fascinating stuff!

Over and out,

Ashley
