What kind of places do you like to visit when traveling?
I recently traveled to Pantanal with my family, and it was a lot of fun to spend time fishing. I'm more of nature, I don't like the beach and places with a lot of pollution.
i hope to go back there more often.
For those who are not from Brazil, you can google Pantanal Brasileiro, as there are several images that I think you will like.
I was always fascinated by the middle eastern countries. Some how Dubai is quite artificial but I prefer to stay in Dubai. The atmosphere is quite open. Though everything is artificial you find those hosts quite loving. I also tried traveling to India sometime back.
I went to Dubai around 2 years back. Although it is beautiful and fascinating, but I too found it very artificial. Everything is man-made there, though great. Even the palm islands are not natural. It's a good place to go one time.
Wow I've heard a lot about Dubai resort and how things is over there, I have a friend who resides over there and he always call me when he visit the beach and takes a ride in the desert 🏜️ sand.
I will love to be in Dubai someday for visit though I know is a bit expensive over there but I don't mind having a quality fun there and visit Dubai clubs and see there ladies :-)
My first priority includes my family , so if my family is with me i can go anywhere in this world to travel with them.
without them there is no happiness for me whatever be the place.
Though i would like to go to Hill station with my family once because that has never happened. I hope after the situation of Covid-19 is controlled then i could go for a short trip with my family.
Quite a while since i traveled due the restriction resulting from the pandemic. Hoping to however move out towards the end of the year to some tourists attraction centres and parks to behold hold nature once again.
Never tried fishing before, would also love to try that out. Visiting the beach and the lounge is also in the works. Hopefully I get to visit Brazil or the Caribbean countries someday.
I like to visit a place where there is a lot of nature to explore, somewhere where there are mountains and the rest. It would be nice for me
Wow this is not bad, I'm sure you will like it and the experience is so much amazing that you will see the view of the whole city in a spot.
Here in Nigeria the mountains is mostly in the northern past of the country and filled with rocks.
I've been to Platue state which is located in the northern part of Nigeria and also known as one of the coldest state in Nigeria.
The state is filled with mountain 🏔️ and Clift which people use as recreation center.
I saw some of those mountains in Kogi when I was posted for my youth service, I would really like to see them up close though and know what it feels like.
It makes me sad to think of travel. Where I live is locked down.
I never traveled for vacation in my life. I always traveled to visit someone or do some kind of work. I've been to Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, India, Ukraine, Germany, Switzerland, Washington, New York, Chicago, LA, Milwaukee, Miami, etc...
But the most interesting place I've visited is Haiti. I loved it even though I'm not good at French or Creole. Probably I because I was still in my twenties and was in the mountains most of the time. Friends are more important to me than places.
I am amazed to read that you have visited so many countries. I wish that these Lockdown are shifted and the world becomes free of covid-19 virus.
For me also my friends are important , i can go to any place but with my friends. trips and holidays with friends are remembered for lifetime and they are one of the best.
Visiting places with friends is an exciting experience @theindiantrader. I did most of my traveling 20-30 years ago. Now I don't really want to move, even if all the Corona travel restrictions were lifted.
Wow what a great previlge you have, you have been to twelve country, that is good.
friend is important, but if you go and come back, you can still see your friend.
Thank you @hookup.pop,
You are right. When I come back from traveling I can see my friends again.
Yet my friends are scattered around the world.
The reason I travel is to be with them and encourage them.
Oh my God so many countries, WOW! You must have applied for a new passport now. So cool. My list has only Turkey, Thailand, Dubai, and Australia.
This is a wonderful list @sugarhaseth,
Quality not quantity. Those are amazing countries you were allowed to visit.
My children love to dream about the world looking at maps and watching geography videos.
One day they will visit those places.
And yes, I did get a new passport last year.
Nowadays most countries don't stamp the passports like they used to.
Everything is in the computer system.
Wow I can't even count it, you have been to almost the whole county on the world and the continents 😂😂 while I'm still busy struggling to visit states on my country.
Is so funny for me to see the country you listed, what kind of work do you do that will take you to visit up to 16 countries? Don't mind me anyway no worries.
Good to know you find a little time to have fun and take care of yourself.
Most of those visits were 20-30 years ago.
Actually it is more difficult to visit within a country than just visit a country. Some of those countries I was there a couple days and left. I think there are like 50 states in India. I have only seen three. Travel on the highways was always difficult there so my whole flight from Seoul to Dehli was easier for me than travel on the highway for a day. Back then it was a lot of honking and a lot of cows crossing. I came back to visit right before the pandemic everything changed so much, especially Dehli. It's a lot more polluted and crowded than it was 20 years ago.
Wow that's a lot of tour out there and you really used your youth aga rightly even though they are for business.
I do watch some India movies but I don't really know how India looks like and the particular population in Delhi, although I know India at large is populated.
Maybe I will ask, where are you from in particular which country and state?
I like traveling because I learned this when I was small that traveling is part of education in which you met different people, tribes, languages and their characters ,that's more reason why I love traveling and I love to travel to a place where I will have enough fun like Chicago,New York and Miami.
I love meeting different people with their languages which will soon be happen
Traveling is on my mind!
So true. Travelling is like exposing yourself to a different culture, a new environment, new people. You get to try their food, learn to talk their language. It gives you a lot of learnings and you also learn to adjust in a different environment. I believe vacations are backed with fun and learnings both.
Honestly, you have said it all because with my traveling experience I exposed to some people culture and their food too.
Which am planing to come to your said to know more about your culture and your food as well (😄 😄)
Thanks for your reply
Good to know you take your vacation to be educative to you. I really don't consider that aspect thou but I will look into it when on vacation.
That is true, travelling enables you to be able to get educated about the cultures, the traditions, and behaviours of other tribes, race etc..
I love Mountains the most. Nothing's better than waking up to clouds on your head. If ever I plan a holiday, mountains are my first preference and especially in the winters when there is snow. Snow capped mountains are a scene I can die for.
I like mountain too, mountain tops gives the nice view you can ever imaging when taking a look in the whole city.
i love traveling as well and i wish i can travel out to Stamford bridge at least to watch my darling Chelsea match for once.
All kinds of places
I like nice beaches to chill and relax, mountains to go hiking, historical cities for the history and the culture.
Never been to Pantanal but it's on my list. If the farmers don't burn it all first
You know the usual fun places like Strip Joints and ....
Just joking.... A few things I like to do when traveling are:
I actually like traveling alot but if i would have to talk about what i like them i will definitely say that i like places where I can see the beauty of nature , beaches , mountains etc.
I went to my last holiday almost two years ago i.e in November 2019. me and my family went to Andaman and Nicobar Islands and it was one of the best holidays i ever had.
One thing is I don't really go on vacation that much because I don't really have chance to go on a vacation.
Whenever I'm on vacation I like going to the beach 🏖️ on a sunny ☀️ day, go for a body massage and body scrub, I also go to a nice resort for a good treatment.
But I don't like going alone I do this with my friends the once I'm close enough to so we can have fun and drink to stupor too.
Traveling is not my hobby I don't really like traveling around I prefer taking myself to a place that is calm quiet where I can just relax when it comes to traveling I don't like it at all.
I don't know maybe it's because of my nature so if people are sharing their travelling experience I do feel I'm the type that share as well but I can't bear it most especially if it is a long distance
Nice one from you and unlike me am not the travelling type, but which I have that kind of exposure and adventure people do have once they travel very soon too
