There is a sentiment (and sometimes rightly so), of scarcity and that tends to turn the almighty dpos system into something that can be molded to fit many narratives. I honestly think the whole aquatic themed caste system is hilarious. Why can't there be Angelfish or Starfishes, lord only knows sometimes everyone can be a chocolate one! (that's a joke and levity is a good thing unless you lack laughter and in that case I can't relate to you and vice versa and that IS OKAY)
I don't have time to keep up with all the dramas but I do have time to write this which denotes how we ALL are responsible for how we use our energy and time. Pointing out that we all are curators is essential as a lot of newer users can easily feel disenfranchised or get a chilly reception by some and jet. How they react is on them but overall most users just want to be part of some sort of project or group(s) and create content how they see fit.
I've no real need nor desire to be a "whale" because you hit the nail on the head that then you get to enjoy "decentralization" under a microscope which takes out most of the joy and makes it feel like the very system supposedly we are avoiding. "When fighting monsters be careful you do not turn into that which you supposedly fight."
I have Whale friends and Minnow friends and just like who I like and avoid who I don't. If people would perhaps realize that the sometimes misguided sense of scarcity is intended to make you jump on coins etc....., the entire ride would be better for all.
Peace,
Axey
It's even more ironic when we're destroying that same aquatic system on our own planet (literally).
This is a valid point. It is a test of character in a way and the early signs of "just here for the tokens" can be presented in this period, but for the most part, it all comes down to the perspective people have in regards to "how they view themselves as part of the community".
It's important to give a boost to people who are just stumbling into the community otherwise it just becomes an echo chamber of a few, and in general, people don't like to speak out of place in fear of being detached from the community (which is completely bonkers).
+20 POB because you continued the message further and pointed out some important bits and bobs
thank you kindly, am not a 'daily poster' or whatnot so it's really appreciated
I don't assume intentions because often someone can smile at me while holding a dagger to the back.....4 years in crypto teaches you some really 'fun' lessons. thanks again and hope the scarcity facade on a lot of things changes (look at the gasoline run in america, there is gasoline but the greedy started overhoarding and using so hope those types don't have any loved ones that get stranded on a road or an ambulance runs out or something)
well enough blatherings for now, cheers
everyday im hustling
