I don't really like comparing. Comparing yourself to others or your token to others is a very detramental thing that starts making you look at wrong targets. At the end of the day if you can look back and say yeah I'm happy with myself and proud of what I did today that to me is the greatest victory and the way one should look at life and move forward. If you start thinking wow this person did 10x and we only did 5x it's a very depressing thing and it start to dig you into a pit that has very negative implications.
So be proud of yourself, your investments, in what you do each day and realize you did your best. But be honest with yourself if you didn't do your best. Challenge yourself each day.
Well, I have to agree with you... You said it well, and we all know how it's hard to be objective and honest with ourselves... That's probably the main reason why we compare with others...
Yeah, you are right about that... It can be a problem for some people to accept, but for some, it can be a motivational factor... It depends on the person...

Fair point it can be motivational as well. It seems more like a balancing thing. That this is possible to do as someone else did it and how can I/we go above that.

That's how I got my driving license... lol... I was so nervous that I have made stupid driving mistakes and fail the exams twice! After that, I was watching other people who are already driving and said to myself "Am I really a worse driver than them?" 😂
I know that it sounds stupid but it reduces my stress and I passed in my 3rd attempt... :)
