Great points! You went through the refiner's fire...there are some other tips I suggest for people who are new to the Hive, but I see you wrote this 7 months ago. One of the first tips I give is to spend 1 full week just commenting on other people's posts before posting something yourself. It increases your chances of being seen. Also, I suggest doing your comments on a platform like Ecency because they award you points for each interaction. They add up, and when you get enough that you can promote a post (150 ecency points), that's when you consider writing your first post. I told my sister @liftslikealady to not post until she had 250 points so she could promote her first post for 2 days, then save up until she had enough to promote her next post. Rinse and repeat...food for thought.
