Well, I have. And it was recent. It happened in 2021/10/14 (the fourteenth of October, 2021). Also, that ban was so good that even brought me here, to HIVE. Thank you, ban.
Honestly, I never tried to fight the ban, as I normally would. I know what's going on in platforms like LifeLog (aka, facebook), where people posting the most wonderful content like VERDADE CONCRETA (check out his channel at Odysee: https://odysee.com/@verdadeconcreta:c; he podcasts at spotify as well, which I even prefer) gets a "hate speech badge" and is banned.
People like Éderson Schmitt (https://twitter.com/dersonRicardo1) who had his previous account - as you can check his suspension in https://twitter.com/edersonschmitt - completely suspended, without further notice whatsoever! Éderson "crime"? Tweeting about the need to print votes in Brasilian elections. How about that?!
Well, that wonderful ban that I got in reddit made me look further in the reddit subs for alternatives to that social network. There, I found this:
And interestingly enough, as you can read in the table at link above, only steemit checks all the boxes for: reddit-like platform; open sourceness; decentralization; android and ios presence apps.
Ok, but why you got banned from a sub in reddit?
I wrote about some inconvenient truth of some really powerful people: politicians.

Bom, aquele banimento maravilhoso que recebi no reddit me fez procurar melhor nos subs do reddit por alternativas para aquela rede social. Lá, encontrei isto:

I think the net effect of all this Orwellian banning is to force the smart, liberty minded people into far better and more lucrative platforms like Hive & Odysee.
My best friend being banned on FB was part of what moved me and him to Hive 3.5 years ago.
He and I have benefitted enormously from the move, both financially and personally.

Getting banned is very bad. I remember vividly when I was banned some tests ago from social media, Twitter to be precise.
It’s very hard to deal with rejection, isn’t it? But worst than that, to me, it was the fact of taking away my freedom of speech. That was such a lame move from reddit or from the moderators of that sub cause I even don’t know who banned me.
