This is great to hear, we need people who are more creatively biased in all honesty. Speaking of this, I am wondering if you could help me out with something since you have more of a creative flair.
I'm doing a merit system for the WOTW, and when it comes down to creative and informative styles, I'm grading them right now as; 0-No level 1-definitive/generic 2-Average 3-Good 4-Excellent 5-Next level, but... I'm not sure if this is the best way to go about it.. do you have any inspiration?
I'm definitely in the have fun and don't take it too seriously crowd.
thank goodness, sometimes my honesty bites me in the ass 😂
I just read up on your WOTW project and I really love the idea! During a time in my life when I thought i wanted to be a teacher, I knew i didn't want to be an art teacher...cause how do you judge creativity??? For art, it's partially the time spent in the creation, but also inspirational ideas can happen in a moment!
With wordplay, I believe comedians are the best and they get that way with time and practice and failing over and over till the words hit just right.
I think you got a good system right now. If the intention is to get people to up their creative game, then the fear of being called generic will definitely light a fire!!
Now that I have looked into the WOTW and how it's graded, I actually want to participate for the mental/creative challenge :) So, i don't have much inspiration to add except that it worked on me so the system must be good haha
don't stay up too late grading papers!
You and me both, lol.
I'm glad to hear that you see the value in the WOTW contest. It's been a serious learning opportunity for me and I get the impression that it has been for others as well. I'll definitely be looking out for your entry now for next week (the word is Bizarre!).
