It's amazing how Bangkok has more Christmas deco and piped in music then here. I was surprised when I was there. I thought I could get away from the cheesy songs and gaudy decorations but it was more in my face then ever haha. I guess eventually the world goes commercial for the big bucks.

Yup! Vendors tried their best to attract more customers and make the atmosphere more lively. But I think it’s still a bit low key as people feel the pinch of bad economic situation. Inflation and the higher costs of living are beginning to bite. People are more careful with their spending.

Oh! -13 C. I wouldn’t be able to live in such condition. It’s time to think about moving south or to Mexico! Thailand is a bit too far.
