I've not actually had this thoughts in a while, I just live for the moment.
Have you ever noticed that the more often you experience pleasure in something, the less it becomes? What, the more possessions, money, and companionship you have, the less you begin to appreciate it?
Very true, most times in our life we end up chasing things we believe would bring us pleasure and when we eventually get it, we get tired of it and seek more pleasure. That's one of the reasons most relationships die, another reason why we keep chasing money on end, the more we get, the more we want to get.
I understand very well the theory of marginal utility now, I think you did a better job than my Economics teacher ever attempted to do.
