So for me,it goes both ways

Let's start with Arguing for

One of the fundamentals of life is KNOWLEDGE.
And one of the ways knowledge can be acquired is by READING hence reading is an important life skill.
Literacy is an essential skill just to get by in our everyday life. Everything you read fills your head with new bits of information, and you never know when it might come in handy(as with the popular saying"No knowledge is a Waste"). The more knowledge you have, the better-equipped you are to tackle any challenge you’ll ever face.

I can't assure you that books change life, but I can assure you that,it can make your life better.
-You can travel the whole world by reading books - by imagining. Even without visiting that particular place you can get to know everything about it by reading books.
-You can too entertain your self by reading books - Story books, jokes, novels etc.

-Reading books can help you improve your grammar in any language whatsoever.
-Then again, reading beauty ideas from books might help you improve your appearance.(Not 100% proven sha o)
An important point to bring up here is that, you can actually improve your analytical thinking abilities by reading books. Yeah, here is a proof:Have you ever read a fantastic mystery novel and solved the mystery before you finished it? If that's the case, you used critical and analytical thinking to figure out "whodunnit" by taking notice of all the details and sorting them out.

Finally, you may enhance your concentration and train your mind to learn things quickly by reading books. Your school books will help you achieve good grades, and your college books will provide you with a degree that will help you acquire a job to earn a living.

Now Arguing against

Books provide knowledge, but it will be a tenet to say that only books can provide such knowledge. Listening to experienced people, listening to knowledge-related channels, and listening to audio video in all languages can all help you develop knowledge.

Secondly, reading literature reminds me of entering commands into a computer program. As a result, the program is more efficient and intelligent. Siri is a good example. Reading expands your brain by giving it more options and knowledge to finish numerous tasks. This in someway has lead to man been over critical,Antisocial and a rise in mental health issues today(as our educational system has become more of a competing ground than a learning facility).
