I stretch my sine across a fearsome gap
where mist and purple flame churn down below
awaiting the inevitable snap
of wave-soul stretched too thin — into the glow:
then plunges ego-remnants to the char —
immortal furnace, melt to newborn star.
That horrid fate I know, yet I deny
with stoic countenance the creeping wane
of youthful strength, and utter not a cry
for death to pleasure from, that reaper'd bane
that piles high the pressure on my wave
until only philosophy can save.
High love of wisdom — love of the unknown,
that mitigating influence of mind
that stills the frantic ripples as they're sewn
by seed of ripple-maker into bind —
that vacuum and the presence of the true,
the winding sine of I and that of you.

Our sine waves can be strengthened with philosophy fueling our brains.
Awesome piece once again and the imagery is not unlike a Geiger organic mechanical thing.
