The question I ask above which goes like this Do you just vote without reading the content or post?
I get to notice that many participants or members of the wonderful platform just go about placing there votes and focus more on curation of posts with out reading the content or try to know what the post is all about.
Many participants gets to judge posts created on the platform based on the quality or meaning of the post topic/headings which maybe be totally true and real of what the post is all about or intentionally staged in other to gain votes from participants.
While many participants place there votes based on the picture the author used is making this post as it is everyone motive to upload a Clickbait picture that gains attention of the public which is good anyway.
Reasons to Read Post;
Reading posts in the community helps us understand what the author of the post is trying to bring our knowledge to rather than assumption drawn from the topic or picture. I know many do not have habit of reading just like me no lies but for the sake of learning new things and also to stay alert and get myself updated with what's happening in the platform I get to read posts before curation.
I know many don't read posts because of how long it is which many of us fall victim of this but the thing we have to understand is we will never learn new stuffs if we do not read to understand facts than assumptions .
So I encourage everyone to do well to read and engage in posts rather than walk over them for profit benefits. @proofofbrain is created for us to learn and not fun only.
Well said. When I was a newbie to blogging, i hardly read posts, most times i just glance through, probably dead a paragraph and comment based on that.
But years of blogging somehow resurrected my passion for reading. Now i can actually spend hours reading posts, believe me if your post is educating and interesting, I'll read every word no matter how long the post is. Just make sure your post is not long and boring, or short and meaningless.
Reading easily becomes addictive.
You're right about that, but is funny most of us run from that.
My eyes get tired eventually. I need to give proper rest !LUV

@da-prince, you've been given LUV from @mineopoly.
Check the LUV in your H-E wallet. (6/10)
Wow that's great then, all I do is write what my head tells me and make it interesting for you guys.
At least your post is original @da-prince,
I've been seeing a lot of crap posted and stuff basically copied from other blogs. I think for the price of an upvote people should at least try to make me smile or surprise me.
You're right I creat my post base on feelings and actions happening in the platform and when you talked about people copying posts, could you imagine a participants copied my post and use it to reply me in one of my post it was funny but I let that slide though he added some few things.
I have seen my words around. It's a wierd feeling.
This is one of the reasons I don't like the idea of using alot of photos in a post. They take away from the reading aspect, as people will just look at the pretty pictures and upvote. In my opinion, a written post that is loaded with images is not quality content. You are right, catchy headlines and pretty pictures get upvotes by people who don't take the time to actually read it.
🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ and you're right about that, I don't know we can't do anything about that, I guess many have that as habit then.
Wait a second...
That's news to me.
Maybe that's the reason https:www//proofofbrain.blog is the only www.blog address my school hasn't blocked yet.
I usually read several posts before I find one to update.
Although, i admit that I sometimes vote on posts with pretty pictures after midnight because I just want to go to bed.
Is common to most of us and we all do that a lot but you know there is no learning in pictures but in reading.
My personal experience is that making a good picture usually takes more time than writing a post. It takes me days to draw a picture. Taking photographs involves expensive equipment and traveling to a locations for a photo shoot.
I also find that it takes a lot of time to and patience to edit and prep a photo for publishing. So, I might spend 8 hours editing the photos from an hour photo shoot.
Since my personal experience shows that creating a picture usually takes substantially more time than writing, then it is good to give curation rewards to others who upload original works to HIVE.
If I spend a few hours reading posts and find nothing worth upvoting, then I am more than happy to upvote good photos.

You are right and you do have a point.
I recognize that I'm not the person who has the most interaction with my friends on HIVE, after a year of being on the platform the need and curiosity was born by itself.
I remember how my friends said that I have to comment and vote, but it wasn't until recently that I made HIVE a social network as regular as twitter.
