Well nice question but this is a bit complicated but I think there is a lot of ways to handle this kind of situation.
With a scenario like this which you gave I will say the best action to take is to mind your business in the office and be discrete on all that you're doing.
I won't say you should take all of them head on, no that won't be a good idea because in the process of doing that you may loose and fail on the trap set for you due to the reason that all your emotions and thinking are clouded with getting back on them how the are treating you.
Being an introvert is not bad at all because it have it's advantages and it disadvantages sometimes. But the best part is maintaining who you are and if people don't like you because of that then is another thing which you don't have to border yourself about but be on your own lane.
We have to understand people's mind is evil so whatever we do on our office especially in new working environment we should be careful and mind our surrounding.
