A walk in search of a train

in Proof of Brain3 years ago

This is a nice walk around the city of Pula and today I decided to take a short walk to the train station to see what it looks like, and what's up especially on Saturday mornings .

img_0.707944119682796.jpg

I arrived at the facility in a space that would say it looked like a waiting room or a ticket counter

img_0.6224684166345751.jpg

there is no one inside but no one desolation and emptiness ,
even the counters are closed and this is very, very old in appearance from 1980 and maybe 1970 .
It says: CLOSED - ZATVORENO

img_0.6245131501893858.jpg

There is a timetable on the walls

img_0.9885065338239508.jpg

img_0.8192777726762837.jpg

Yet the tables inside are nice to me very old and solidly made very robust

img_0.41724098706963014.jpg

on the floor you can clearly see how the stone slabs were worn out by the former amount of people circulating around that station

img_0.17140195225373137.jpg

An 80-year-old wall clock adorns the space and is still accurate

img_0.7680424638911062.jpg

on the glass for buying a ticket that anti-sneezing opening is very old only here I saw it that way

img_0.3410840698223504.jpg

The door that adorns the entrance to this empty waiting room where there is no one looks nice old and wonderfully peaceful feeling of desolation

img_0.90988076943789.jpg

I get out of that waiting room and go for a walk

img_0.26631162729095037.jpg

Up under the roof another nice clock working

img_0.1857802493032674.jpg

next to the outside in front of an old Tisza tree

img_0.37402057052458226.jpg

Trains full of beautiful graffiti stand on the tracks

img_0.9918435992589764.jpg

img_0.8993043369059314.jpg

This strange bridge construction is a ramp to put cars up and do small and big service,. Change the oil, brake control and stuff like that

img_0.4729035795971052.jpg

there the dream looked a little at what the wheel of the train looked like and looked interesting

img_0.6554118943584707.jpg

And the rest of the cartoons are actually painted with beautiful artistic graffiti that adorns the train

img_0.35071756089524536.jpg

there is some workshop some open semi warehouse and these ladders are very old and strange to me

img_0.6992755052102445.jpg

they look old but also strangely bent obviously for climbing a train perhaps by appearance

img_0.9946810769004978.jpg

some old. a fence that guards the manholes

img_0.6182514851779832.jpg

this looks like a pump and it is very old possible from Austro-Hungary

img_0.6082250105393006.jpg

and this some tube that looks like lighting but that adorns the pool

img_0.8377953914010425.jpg

beautiful fence a real masterpiece

img_0.32957942936410967.jpg

img_0.7711158859508489.jpg

i go on to look at these old buildings

img_0.38960542478964055.jpg

this one has some chain pulleys on it

img_0.981384701377824.jpg

there I turned back and saw this old pump again

img_0.5614174597634659.jpg

There on this building stands an old lighting lamp and the Railway coat of arms

img_0.007073817866085225.jpg

and has years

img_0.19698585656203893.jpg

It's because of these trains

img_0.7734247200429157.jpg

a substation decorated like a train

img_0.0620430927298668.jpg

you can see the sea and the view over that hill in the distance is Katarina

img_0.20618248837743566.jpg

about that place with some other walk, story or adventure skin in which I will be and for now to return to the trains and the railway

img_0.40554993731499134.jpg

this building is an old electric mill so they call it

img_0.2595405659760708.jpg

Here, in the shade under the canopy of a tree, a nice place to rest, a small and solid table

img_0.6643785437753111.jpg

of course, such a well-built stone stand cannot be alone but accompanied by a fireplace and a barbecue

img_0.48776064775521116.jpg

this is not garbage maybe waste from the machine but it is the current chair that rolled down and it used to serve as a filter maybe air

img_0.8629105561034618.jpg

This train stands and stands there and I watch it stand still

img_0.3904265679768695.jpg

img_0.43691228570169094.jpg

it is very rare to see more glass luminaires to be used

img_0.2435042537015215.jpg

and to see those wheels stand on the floor

img_0.6066389816846293.jpg

here is a view of Uljanik and uno high with red lines on tall structures is some platform for offshore gas or oil

img_0.9388393810707927.jpg

I returned slowly towards the beginning of the exit but I saw something interesting in the shade

img_0.6181244379617331.jpg

those old buildings are fascinating to me they made and decorated them a lot

img_0.7564147133368844.jpg

up there above the coat of arms next to the window is an old ceramic piece of electricity a fairly old pattern

img_0.3016584159331112.jpg

it is quite warm for the ninth month 23 °C

img_0.1368516761858716.jpg

img_0.01789818285175826.jpg

Pipe color water color. It doesn’t have to mean but it looks like that

img_0.5415578058159476.jpg

There is another old machine in pretty good condition looking

img_0.8920638145633565.jpg

here are very high rock walls

img_0.5028506012652842.jpg

This object is interesting to me and this is how I go towards it these rails on the floor and this rock next to it

img_0.08428659987679997.jpg

there is a little vegetation and stones that adorn it

img_0.2988095351955809.jpg

img_0.48016408029730206.jpg

but this is a bit of despair chaos the real wild yet it's okay it is not seen so it is

img_0.10616202755488316.jpg

Here are the things that make this object different from others at least this visible part like these rails that are in the ceiling panel to hold the load

img_0.41277680671707295.jpg

and antique lighting lamps that adorn the building with antiques

img_0.8217744197010248.jpg

img_0.41028793871767266.jpg

this is nice the old fashioned way of a lisa doing shade

img_0.04132271891675004.jpg

with cast iron chairs and bench with rails not to rot or rust but to last and last

img_0.5110538826190579.jpg

img_0.46852873980485404.jpg

img_0.5540510846576207.jpg

img_0.23855662442605147.jpg

here I am again next to that car service ramp and there is one hook to hang things

img_0.8310145298153396.jpg

an ingenious brake and perhaps some other purpose who will know them

img_0.025644305140549724.jpg

a good load had to pass here to always live iron on that manhole

img_0.3383241138576855.jpg

a rather long and elegantly made one of the most beautiful I have seen

img_0.7078899719249621.jpg

and this must be quite old

img_0.4957570305060308.jpg

the ladder railing looks nice old and is still solid

img_0.4492450818148407.jpg

I'm moving on

img_0.19539591021761937.jpg

there are still some objects

img_0.33958838024882665.jpg

and a beautiful rock protruding

img_0.7833776100713068.jpg

Here I came out finally now I see there is some sign obviously for decoration

img_0.38724760254377.jpg

there on the right is the building from the Pula railway station

img_0.48429534229878574.jpg

img_0.5190573108655331.jpg

as it is approached from the left there are closed bunker passages in the rocks

img_0.9538783006075693.jpg

let the entrances be concreted

img_0.39524352478325275.jpg

this is a little more distant as it looks

img_0.6617554398829557.jpg

Pula train station a little closer

img_0.10486176300822932.jpg

img_0.9790381577461109.jpg

view of the canopy girder

img_0.3276308814941824.jpg

This is some plan map of Pula there is an oval on the wall and it looks interesting

img_0.5576419243111567.jpg

There is a modern coat of arms station

img_0.23197572703204405.jpg

I'm going beyond this , there is no one desolation and the beauty of peace and quiet

img_0.49436659160329094.jpg

This is a story in itself, an old chest forged with rivets and a strange lock

img_0.882745021239773.jpg

It is a very old Locomotive

img_0.8569158215234983.jpg

img_0.4534548771995199.jpg

A little view of the interior of the Locomotive ..
We need to see where to climb first

img_0.6407060272370487.jpg

When I climbed I first saw the ceiling sadly and sadly in poor condition

img_0.9313728902704798.jpg

this is obviously a boiler firebox

img_0.12813874127206443.jpg

this behind the charcoal hole

img_0.8220046764075055.jpg

various levers and valves

img_0.5779696857294377.jpg

img_0.32245186195689757.jpg

img_0.5431349074566171.jpg

img_0.9763035647418906.jpg

the door handle is well painted

img_0.2807199500699894.jpg

on the inside as it closes

img_0.6826848674476788.jpg

this is a view out the window

img_0.36039902146603175.jpg

these are wooden stairs to climb to the roof but i didn't want to rsdit it because the planks look kind of skinny

img_0.9617645131276515.jpg

that's why the climbing handle can be held for another 100 years

img_0.4722140579324185.jpg

Now a little of her wheels

img_0.09109682038107475.jpg

img_0.035610841930071954.jpg

img_0.21128490509334255.jpg

It looks strong how old she is the first maybe

img_0.4736899524680301.jpg

img_0.9080268332286535.jpg

wicked Locomotive

img_0.8213739986559404.jpg

here you see some compressor on the boiler

img_0.17982321926575687.jpg

img_0.7571193835515817.jpg

we continue our walk and I come across more bunkers

img_0.18590888394116475.jpg

img_0.8130732452447661.jpg

img_0.5984836188717849.jpg

it is neglected, in fact, who knows what is in those labyrinths under the city

img_0.3754728586197368.jpg

This is an old large and thick root of a tree that grows on a rock and is only seen not to break or destroy the rock

img_0.23032800808891118.jpg

here it is from a distance in the middle of the frame

img_0.49256461832462467.jpg

little stone beauties

img_0.5300877699250344.jpg

img_0.08379728162397067.jpg

img_0.34484707743553544.jpg

Here you can see how they drilled holes with some drills and nice ruoe remained

img_0.49402497567594794.jpg

img_0.29568362121993946.jpg

img_0.40393121575561197.jpg

Dacar made this beauty pass and object

img_0.8525285073208303.jpg

img_0.21313459983751987.jpg

both decorations are beautiful

img_0.98076442506402.jpg

this is a former hangar for things

img_0.36283737066805205.jpg

I went a little over the railroad tracks

img_0.4660830804353872.jpg

img_0.16115084190155404.jpg

And in the distance, the roof of the luxurious Austro-Hungarian Hotel Riviera protrudes through the canopy

img_0.9406951969385882.jpg

here the rails stand to see what they look like

img_0.32879925191190307.jpg

and those planks on which they never rot are always in one piece

img_0.4937263403349324.jpg

and it doesn't move it stands and stands for years

img_0.3987697504748193.jpg

This has always been fascinating to me how it moves

img_0.589354651326097.jpg

manages to attract or remove this line

img_0.9032838935131168.jpg

and this piece moves all this

img_0.40050703173509444.jpg

img_0.5189967839573132.jpg

coupling two rails

img_0.7844754830294758.jpg

on this one some levers of movement were seen

img_0.32901177903048545.jpg

img_0.428472775161723.jpg

This looks nice as an ornament

img_0.13345053000118745.jpg

but beyond this one cannot go by train this is a forced brake

img_0.00240436466194016.jpg

I found two more locomotives in Pula, these are inside the Uljanik shipyard

img_0.9357658433414171.jpg

img_0.8217063345929779.jpg

They are quite far away

img_0.648322639001123.jpg

img_0.12040446167052168.jpg

These are the gears that drive the cranes

img_0.3701264866553407.jpg

img_0.025965741103320377.jpg

You can see the old cast cannons with their carriers and the balls of their bullets used to be

img_0.87905237748752.jpg

img_0.5272862073317066.jpg

Three cannons are nice to see here

img_0.19942363504594426.jpg

there I came across a small mantis

img_0.21257885396640888.jpg

she was standing on the wall and she has nice pliers

img_0.45093596554162957.jpg

the wings folded like a sleeve imperceptibly to have them

img_0.04408251830291059.jpg

wicked head

img_0.32645263316117457.jpg

a head with those wicked mouths that gnaw prey

img_0.2619138824375709.jpg

Here is one of the most annoying, most disgusting, itchy, but the only ones that can jump the most

img_0.42415436110997984.jpg

dog lice tiny and wicked

img_0.30418588234447513.jpg

Only this one doesn't jump anymore, it's over .
Luckily there was only one.

img_0.23456663922794216.jpg

I saw this spider now at midnight

img_0.5556604523435515.jpg

img_0.41286488975955865.jpg

The body is crowded with the young of its spiders the beautiful European Tarantula

img_0.12074939139522649.jpg

img_0.03698525510640484.jpg

they are very tiny spiders and it is still dark so the shot is a bit blurry

img_0.9162269081081412.jpg

Spider ( Lat . Lycosidae )

img_0.9157173000959189.jpg

Their eyes sparkle green like little spotlights

img_0.9456359702711786.jpg

she went to hide, and I also finished this walk

img_0.21408903661667952.jpg

I finish slowly near the end for you on HIVE a bit to show you a tour of the trains that used to run

img_0.9080268332286535.jpg

In short, we end this paper with a few photos and a few words.
Until the next some adventure or walk.

THE END

I can almost feel and see the history on those photos.

I feel that way when I was there ;))

European tarantula!

You got me reading up on this one:
https://www.burkemuseum.org/collections-and-research/biology/arachnology-and-entomology/spider-myths/myth-tarantulas-are

Very interesting. I don't care what the article says (not harmful). I'm not touching that spider :)

here we call it the European tarantula but it falls under the Wolf spider ;))

It is a wolf spider, but they do bite. Wow, all those babies. Those spiders are better mothers than some people :)

That certainly needs respect ;))
