Many of us wish not to have enemies or detractors but that may not be a good wish or it might not be possible since growth rarely occur in the comfort zone.
Those who are accustomed to turning out everyone who does not think or behave like them would be shooting themselves on the foot because the people you hear from do not have anything new to tell you , just repetition of how awesome and great you are even when you remain mediocre they still tell you what you want tO hear.
You do not work hard or conquer territories just to impress friends; that is like preaching to the converted soul no challenge therein. Your greatest challenge comes from your distractors or your adversaries. Those who has written you off and sworn you will not amount to anything. If you fail to achieve anything you would be validating and aligning to their will for you. No one lives to impress his/her enemies but to disappoint them. There is this inner satisfaction that comes when you soar high above the wishes of your enemies. In fact my greatest achievements have come at a time someone could not believe in me or embarrassed me on a particular subject matter.
The best version of you always comes out after you are mocked or embarrassed and nothing is sweeter than proving to those who declared you nobody that you are somebody. All great stories about high achievers and legends always have that transition from ordinary to extraordinary. Please never allow people notion about you to become your own reality otherwise what is untrue would become true because you disappointed yourself.
You have a singular job of disappointing your detractors. Every you wake up determine it will not end the way the enemies have planned it. If you have that mentality it would be difficult to quit.
No one lives to impress his/her enemies but to disappoint them.This is fact! Our desire will be to always work hard to disappoint our enemies.
