I have no idea ATOM and ATOMS existed in crypto exchange. What's the difference?

ATOM is on the cosmos blockchain. ATOMs are on ionomy. They have similar names and symbols.

They are token symbols for a crypto currency called ATOM but they are two different crypto currencies.
