There was a break in the rain and windy conditions this morning, so we went for a walk starting off at the bridge at Padley Gorge which isn't far from the National Trust's Longshaw Estate.
Don't worry the pooch didn't jump!
He made a friend on the way round. I'm glad we didn’t get scythed down with the other dog and it's "stick".
There are quite a few abandoned millstones around the area which are quite cool looking.
It really is a photographer's dream as it is a beautiful location whatever the season.
We've had lots of rain so it wasn't surprising there was fungi about.
I don't normally see a lot of Scarlet Elf Cups, so it was nice to see a bit of colour. According to folk lore, elves drink the morning dew from them. 🙂
After a circular walk we headed back to the car. Storm Eunice is on its way!
