Question.
Do you get rid of things that don't serve you or do you keep that a part of memory?
I am asking this question in context of all those things we don't use and keep around in hope of some use. How do you get the courage to get rid of things you used to like?

I don't keep things I don't need anymore. I did that earlier, like keeping my scrapbooks from school, the first rose I got from my ex-boyfriend, some dress I wore in a fancy dress competition. But with time I realized that these materialistic things don't matter. It's the memories in the heart that we must cherish forever. So now I just discard things that I don't use anymore. I don't really like to attach emotions to things.

These question is similar to my present situation.and its a very difficult question.
But the answer i can give is ,if those things are will ba an obstacle get rid of it.but since you are hoping that it can be of use still keep it as long as possible.

Personally, if I don't need them I don't keep them. makes it a lot easier to get rid of things when you realize keeping them is not necessary.

I hoard everything...... :)

For me if I don't need a certain thing, I don't see any need of keeping them. It however sometimes depends on the particular thing as they are few things I keep for memory sake. They serve has memento and I would they just get stored where I can still see. For other things that matter little to me, I simply discard them.

I try to get rid of all things that don't serve a purpose any longer. I'm a minimalist or a spartan as some would say

I like to "travel light"
