Nowadays animals surprise us more and more, either with tricks or emotions that they can demonstrate, but they also have a number of super functional talents that benefit both them and humans, in several different ways, one of those talents and the most useful is disease detection.
animals, especially dogs, have such a powerful sense of smell that they can detect various types of diseases just by smelling the person! 😲 amazing right?
Not only can they do that, but they can also detect the precise moment when something like pressure rise, seizures, etc. is going to happen to you.
But not only dogs can do wonders with their instincts but also many other types of animals such as pigeons or mice among many others, only that the most mentioned and most capable is our faithful friend the dog.
Before explaining a little about the diseases that are detected the fastest, I will share a little story.

Interesting story right? If it weren't for Jedi who knows what would have happened to the little boy, who knows if he would have gotten worse, this heroic act saved the life of this child and likewise many other pets have saved the lives of his owners.
Now let's see a small list of animals and the diseases they can detect.
THE RATS
Although it is difficult to believe, mice are one of those animals that have the ability to warn about a disease, in this case they can detect the H5N1 influenza virus which affects birds much more than humans but that does not rule out that is not a bad thing for us.
THE PIGEONS
Pigeons can detect cancer cells in the United States they are training pigeons to be able to quickly detect cancer cells, honestly, pigeons are very easy to train so it is not difficult for them.
DOGS
Dogs are the most common of the entire list because they have 300M receptors to sniff and detect many more diseases than any other animal, and they not only serve for this but to guide disabled people as blind.
Dogs are 97% accurate in detecting cancer in blood tests.
They detect Narcolepsy through the chemical change that people with this disease produce.
In 1989, this began to be studied much more, when a dog detected a malignant melanoma in its owner and from then on various studies and training were carried out, where the main function of it is to sniff out biological samples.
Some diseases they detect are:
1- Breast, skin and colon cancer.
2- Diabetes.
3- The covid-19.
4- Epileptic seizures.
5- Seizures
These are just some of the many diseases that dogs detect and not only diseases but also attacks or symptoms.
After knowing all this there is no doubt that dogs literally have superpowers, but it is that they can fly or have strength or laser vision, but powers that help us humans a lot since thanks to them they could prevent a patient from getting worse Just for not knowing what he has, but rather being able to realize it in time and take care of it in the correct way, obviously we are not only going to say that dogs or any type of animal is necessary and want to have one, No! If we are going to have a pet, we will try to make it because we know that we will take care of them in the best way, not having them and treating them the worst since just as they help us and treat us well, we can do the same.
