Hello good afternoon everyone! today I'm going to show you some of the pictures I took living in Córdoba.
Empezamos comentando que córdoba fue una ciudad fundada por españoles durante su colonización en Latinoamérica, se organizaban en territorios "libres" (que ciertamente libres no eran) y con ciertas ordenanzas iban detallando la organización de la ciudad, una de estas muy representativa es la ubicación de la catedral y el cabildo que se disponían en una plaza principal de la cual, a partir de esta, se trazaba la forma de la ciudad (esto era una interesante manera de representar la tensión política y religiosa que existía en la época).
We begin by commenting that Cordoba was a city founded by Spaniards during their colonization in Latin America, they were organized in "free" territories (which certainly were not free) and with certain ordinances were detailing the organization of the city, one of these very representative is the location of the cathedral and the council that were arranged in a main square from which, from this, the shape of the city was traced (this was an interesting way to represent the political and religious tension that existed at the time).
La primera imagen que les quiero mostrar es una vista lateral de la iglesia del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús que comúnmente se la conoce como la iglesia de los capuchinos, es la típica arquitectura gótica eclesiástica llevada a cabo por una arquitecto italiano llamado Augusto Ferrari, es interesante saber que es la primer maravilla artificial de la ciudad de córdoba.
The first image I want to show you is a side view of the church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus which is commonly known as the church of the Capuchins, is the typical ecclesiastical gothic architecture carried out by an Italian architect named Augusto Ferrari, it is interesting to know that it is the first artificial wonder of the city of Cordoba.
Cercano a esta iglesia, encontramos diferentes tipos de arquitectura, literalmente frente a esta se levanta un edificio que tiene muchas características adquiridas del brutalismo (arquitectura en auge durante los 50s -70s en Argentina)
Near this church, we find different types of architecture, literally in front of it, there is a building that has many characteristics acquired from brutalism (architecture in boom during the 50s - 70s in Argentina).
Es hermoso ver la conjunción de estos elementos estructurales que existen de armoniosa en esta ciudad, es una constante variedad de estilos por calles desde zonas meramente coloniales (manzana jesuítica) hasta monumentos modernos.
It is beautiful to see the conjunction of these structural elements that exist harmoniously in this city, it is a constant variety of styles in the streets from purely colonial areas (Jesuit block) to modern monuments.
Otra situación arquitectónica que se encontrarían si visitan esta ciudad es la fuerte presencia de ladrillos en fachadas, es un elemento muy característico implantado por el arquitecto renombrado José Ignacio Diaz
Another architectural situation that you would find if you visit this city is the strong presence of bricks in facades, it is a very characteristic element implemented by the renowned architect José Ignacio Diaz.
La vista nocturna de la ciudad también es muy interesante, tienen muchas actividades turísticas y es activo en esos aspectos.
The night view of the city is also very interesting, they have many tourist activities and it is active in those aspects.
