"Wasp Moth"

Amata Huebneri is a species of Wasp Moth in the genus Amata of the family Erebidae.

This wasp moth has a black color with an orange band on its belly and transparent windows on its wings. Wasp moths are classified as small insects because their maximum wingspan is only 2.4 cm. Unlike real wasps, wasp moths can't sting at all & are harmless to humans.

Many wasp moths are found in rice fields because the wasp moth eats flower nectar so that it helps pollinate the flowers it infests. But different from moths in general, wasp moths are diurnal animals, aka active during the day.
