When Your Husband Loves Trains: Don Railway Museum, Devonport, Tasmania
By: @riverflows
When your husband loves trains and you stop by a train museum, obviously you have to go in. Of course, I make the usual wifely fuss and moan, like 'do we REALLY have to go on' but it's worth it to see the 10 year old boy come out in Jamie. Steam trains just really make him happy. Whilst we have been to Devonport before, we haven't really explored it, but this time we had two days to kill

1926 Peru 1 SOL
By: @thekittygirl
Several members of the Silver Gold Stackers (SGS) community mentioned this coin over the past couple of years. It looked really pretty to me for several reasons. It has a lovely depiction of Lady Liberty on it, and feminine imagery is featured, by choice, on most of my collection of coins & bullion. I like the design of the reverse side, too, and the coin has some silver in it!

The Rocky Road to Selling a House for a Good Price
By: @agmoore
A little over a year ago, I sold a house and learned a few critical lessons in the process. This is my second blog on the financial aspects of that home sale. Today I'm going to discuss what I learned about getting the best possible price while investing as little money as possible in the process. I should explain upfront that my daughter and I were handling the sale

I don't understand Luxury.
By: @inuke
Fair warning this is not like my other post. So if you are expecting the usual banter between real me and inuke. I am sorry. I gave inuke the day off, to be honest, it's me who needed the break

A timeless Greek treasure: the majestic Valley of the Temples
By: @alecaltab
Ciao, people of HIVE! With this article, we come back to my travel across Sicily. Today, I want to focus on the Valley of the Temples, which, despite its tourist appeal, is also one of the places on the island to which I feel the most emotionally connected. This connection comes from my passion for ancient history and a wonderful trip I took here with my family — my mom, dad, and sister— many years ago

Visiting Old Man Winter
By: @litguru
I often post images of local mountains that look rugged and majestic. Sometimes I stare at those mountains and wonder, what's it like up there? How long could I survive? What equipment would I need to do so?

The Second D&D Tarak Campaign - Finishing Off The Orc Stronghold
By: @alonicus
Welcome to the ongoing saga of a Dungeons & Dragons campaign I ran a little while back. It started off using The Sunken Citadel module from the Tales From The Yawning Portal source book, but was then fitted into my Homebrew setting and moved on from there. In the last post, the party finished clearing the upper level of the orc stronghold, using the advantage of surprise to their advantage because they'd come in through the back door. Caught by surprise and with all their prepared defences facing the other way, the heroes rampaged through orcish ranks slaughtering all who stood in their way

Lessons from a month of power ups: consistency is the key to success
By: @alex-rourke
31 days ago I decided to power up some liquid HIVE. So I did that. I increased my Hive Power by about 11 HIVE. I checked my vote value the very next day and it hadn't moved one bit
