 Posted In: Hive Learners | One A very interesting topic that usually comes up on the current agenda is the use of cell phones in schools by students. I can say that it is something that cannot even be discussed at the moment, simply because there is already a law approved at the end of 2024, prohibiting the use of cell phones by children up to 10 years old in public and private schools. This even prohibits their use during recess, making it forbidden to carry the device under any circumstances in schools. I totally agree with that, by the way I think this law should apply to children up to 12 or 14 years old, because I know how cell phones affect children and teenagers, and they don't pay attention to anything else. When we talk about an adult, it's understandable that we can stop using them pay attention to something. Now, children in a school certainly can't pay attention to things if they have a cell phone with them ... |

 Posted In: Hive Learners | The very first lecture I attended at the university, I was a scapegoat. Not sure who exactly called, but I only took it to say, "I'll call you later". Next thing I knew, the lecturer called me out, seized my phone, and asked me to stand before the class for the rest of the lecturer. A bit embarrassing, but I should have known better sitting in the first row. A similar thing happened in 300 level during one electrical class. My phone only rang out this time, and again, I was in the front row ... |

 Posted In: The City of Neoxian | At a point in my life, I thought everyone, or at least most people would have the same mindset as me, whenever I owe someone money, either a friend or stranger, I won't have rest of mind until I pay the debt... The last thing I want is to disappoint someone who helped me and stop them from helping others because of my actions. Unfortunately, many people do not have the same mindset, they don't care about the consequences of their actions, I am that guy who is a good listener and even when I am down, If you bring your sad stories, I will give you a listening ear if that would comfort you or probably go out of my way to find a solution to your problem... I also got healed knowing my presence or actions help to relieve someone of their pains, heavy heart, or whatever they are going through. I don't make friends easily but I cherish my old friends and never want anything to put a stop to our friendship, I have a friend who is more like a younger brother, there was a time that he started moving with some group of boys and I warned him that it won't help him, too many friends especially those driving on the wrong path will only hinder one's progress and those are the kind of friends he is with now... Whenever he made money, he would disappear and I wouldn't see him again until something bad happened to him, he would come back like a prodigal son and I would accept him to my home, he would share his problems and I would advise him but that does not stop him from committing the same mistake again when another money appears ... |
