I've told someone that before and I've also been told too. It's one statement that often cones out of anger and most times we do end up regretting ever saying such words but then we just choose in some cases not to apologise.

That's true. It's not often people say "don't tell me what to do". However, when it is said, it's often due to anger and a bit of other complexities. Haha.
