Everyone has the right to wirte their story the way they want it,That is why every of our decisions right now goes beyond what it takes to make them, cause it defines who will are.
It is no more news that one of the most difficult task this week is right here from @scholaris.pob with the #pob-wotw contest topic, sincerely brain as been cracked as to what to come up with on this topic, especially with a topic like this, but it keeps looking as if I won't be joining the contest, but immediately I remember that I have no other choice than to look around me and life just to make sure that all was done.
At a point I thought all hope was lost when it comes to the issue of corruption and lack of security in my country,as their was no one to savage the community from such attitude, unfortunately many lives as been lost when it comes to the issue of security and lot more
I was even worried and thinking of who can be the messiah right now, cause it was looking as if all the leaders where on the same page of victimizing the citizens,at this point I was totally sad and nothing was coming to my brain as to what the solution to all this hardship might be.
Their was no voice for the voiceless
After a while I thought about nelson Mandela of south Africa, how undefeated this man was, that he stood on his ground to make sure all the citizens of his country gain freedom live a good life.I was still on that a man from nowhere showed up and started standing in gap for everyone in the country.
He was just the perfect Invictus we have all been waiting for, cause he stood his ground and was just always everywhere to stand in gap for the community.
I remember vividly that through him the economy was restored and all was set,he was summoned by the top official, just to buy his heart, but he said no to all their proposals, stating it clear that the interest of the citizens is much more important to him than anything else.
This was a man that was charged to court just because of his generousity and kindness to make sure all the citizens enjoy a better life, depsite the fact the he was restricted under the law not to do some certain things,he was not moved as he was just focused about making sure that everyone live a better life in the country.
It was a success story as the whole country enjoy a better life through an hero who was unmoved by the superiority of those in power, even when they were using the power against him.He indeed brings a better changed to the country and I vividly remember getting a car at the rate of #5000 during his time.
Finally he prove that he was undefeated and unchanged depsite the trial and challenges that comes his way,it was at this point my Mummy called me and I woke up,so have been dreaming since. 😁 😁
Thanks for reading.
Nelson Mandela is a great man, he was the first person I thought of when I saw the word invictus.
Madiba certainly was a man for his time. truly humble and invictus. It is sad that his legacy was cast aside so easily by those politicians who succeeded him in power. He was the honorary speaker at my Graduation ceremony in 1993 at the University of Natal in Durban and received his honorary doctorate of Laws the same evening. It was a humbling experience and a year later he was our President. I wrote about him earlier this week in the #dreemportchallenge where I envisaged taking my eldest son on a visit to Robben Island to share an important part of South African history with him.
