Proofofbrain,The quora of hive blockchain??

in Proof of Brain3 years ago (edited)

Quora is a platform where people ask questions about any subject, and they get answers which they need concerning the questions...

The platform have helped alot of people to gain knowledge about various subjects and it has made them to have more value in life....

Proofofbrain is a great platform that contains very great contents which are interesting to read and gain some knowledge from it...

So some moments ago,i ask myself, what about if we have a kind of "questions and answers" thread on proofofbrain??a thread where one can simply ask questions and be sure of getting useful answers that will help them....

And there can also be a feature whereby the person who asked the question can be given an option to tip any user who they find their answer to be useful so that this will encourage more engagements and make people be willing to give useful and quality answers to questions which the person asked.....

There are some subjects we want to know about and you never can tell, someone out there might have the knowledge about that particular subject.....

This is just a suggestion that i feel will make this platform to add more values to the lives of its users and it can also help in the SEO of this platform....maybe @proofofbrainio or @leprechaun can look into this suggestion and make use of it..

Thank you all for reading

Proof of brain is much better than just a website where you ask questions. Here you may improve yourself motivated by earning rewards yourself and rewarding others for their knowledge. I think quora is centralized and they may remove your content and your account any time they like. They even have moderators telling you what to do and what to not do. But here our content will stay forever and noone will be able to delete your account. The only thing we have to fight the abuse is to mute, downvote, and ignore people who want to abuse the platform. That's why it's much better. ☺

@clixmoney yeah you have a valid point..but look at what i am trying to say..for example let's say i want to know how to convert pob to hive and i need answers, creating a topic with a post with just one sentence asking a simple question might make the platform look spammy but if there is a thread on this platform where i can simply ask questions then i can just simply go there to ask the question without the need to create a special topic for it...

I understand you. But even in quora people usually explain their questions. That's why it's better to write the question in the title and explain a bit in the post. It's not that spamy if you don't know really the answer. But, of course the questions shoudn't be repeated. For that the engine should work to help you if the question was asked or not. I find those usually in google or other search engine. In case I don't find that, I just ask someone active here. Or you may use this website to find something in hive : https://hivesearcher.com/

Maybe the creator of that website @good-karma may give his ideas about how to ask questions as well.

It didn't work out well when I asked if my milk was bad, I got alot of downvotes.

@phusionphil exactly my point, creating a topic just to ask "is my milk bad" might look spammy to others...so that is why it will be good to have a thread on this platform where you can just go to and ask that question without creating a topic for it....

If it worked from the memo field, there wouldn't be any rewards pool activity

Thoughtful suggestion @ifycryptos you got these thoughts just a few moments ago? More like you've been thinking it for a longer time, it's a really cool suggestion.

And I hope they would put it into consideration. People get to ask all the questions they have in mind while some people are more than willing to give a good answer to the questions.

ProofOfBrain has been a really awesome community since I got to know about it and it would be more interesting with this suggested initiative.

Well done sir 😊

Well, Is it just me or isn't that one of the major reasons why the discord channels and servers were provided or set up for each or most communities and tribes?
People drop by those servers to ask question about things they really don't seem to understand about a particular thing without having to create a post about it, which may look spammy like you said.

There are some subjects we want to know about and you never can tell, someone out there might have the knowledge about that particular subject.....

And about this, yes you are right. That is why the subject should be discussed by making or creating a post about it for others to learn as well.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

True..the discord server already have features which you can use to ask whatever questions which you want to ask..

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Yea it has.

@zellypearl most times the discord server is to ask questions relating to the scope of the platform and not general subjects...for example it might be odd to be asking about mike tyson on the discord server of proof of brain except if there is another channel created for questions and answers or any subject you want to ask questions about....

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I see your point and I think some servers do anyways but we have google search for other questions outside hive or non-related don't we?

I think you are correct, but maybe having the same features on this platform can make the platform to grow more..

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I think it wouldn't be such a bad idea

Yes it is a very good idea which will make this platform greater
