When the full moon comes out, go out of your house and gaze at it.
You would notice a man bent over at work.
Yes, there is a man in the moon.
He splits firewood ceaselessly.
That is the task and punishment he does forever.
The punishment is from God.
The man had disobeyed God’s instructions.
You see, once upon a time, human beings lived in the moon.
In those days, humans all had one language and had wings.
They could fly around and they lived in structures called moogles on the moon.
The moon was a place of laughter, joy, happiness, endless partying and an endless supply of food.
One day, humans held a big party in the moon.
The party lasted five days.
They sang, drank and ate so much that they could no longer move.
There was a giant stack of debris, dirty plates and waste material littered all over the moon.
God got angry and ordered them to clean up immediately.
Everyone began cleaning, sweeping the moon, washing the plates, etc.
Except for one man.
He refused to do the work, saying that he wants to live his life without taking instructions from anyone!
God then decided that human beings should no longer live in the moon.
Because the longer they stayed there, the more they would destroy the beautiful surface of the moon.
So, he clipped their wings, gave them different languages and threw them all to the earth.
But for the disobedient man, God kept him in the moon and gave him the task of splitting firewood to power the flames that gives light to the moon.
You know, Science tells you that the moon does not produce light on its own but only reflects light from the sun at night.
But I tell you, my friend, that moonlight is produced by a giant fire with millions of burning firewood logs.
And this fire is kept alive by the man who splits the firewood in the moon forever.
If you want to confirm this, you can take a trip to the moon.
I will take you there.
