the main work of wisdom is not for you to know things, but for you to be able to apply what you know in an appropriate manner or appropriat.
mostly wisdom deals with decision making, you might know things understand it and still make a full decision about that thing, wisdom also deals with timing, doing things at the right time.
those two factors are things that guide wisdom, your decision making and your timing. although you are supposed to do this thing but knowing the perfect time to do it is a result of wisdom.
