Community Growth Report on 19th May 2021

The community growth report based on the parameters i have already identified reveals that in absolute numbers the community is obviously growing but the % growth has now started stabilizing.

My previous three reports on the community growth are available for reference hereThis report has now became the weekly feature. We all like numbers, rather growing numbers. #proofofbrain community is growing. Its not growing leaps and bounds but its growing organically. More users are coming aboard in the hopes of earning money for liking and contributing the content. Atleast the numbers of the last five weeks tell us the story that #pob is growing organically.

Above graph is the comparison of performances in these four weeks.

Highlights of the week

  • 536 (Last week 457) subscribers to the community - Growth of 17.29%
  • 560 (Last week 519) active users who may not be subscribers but are actively posting through the different platforms using tag of proofofbrain - Growth of 7.9%
  • There are about 2861 (Last week 2645) investors who are holding at-least one or more token of #pob - Growth of 8.17%.

Engagement is the Key

The biggest and the most important number is the number of interactions. There are close to 5316 ( Last week 4811) interactions in this community - Growth of 10.5%.
It is quite evident that community growth pace has started declining. However, in absolute numbers the growth looks very impressive.

There are projects like engagement project run by @amr008 and manual curation done by the whale accounts like @vempromundo.pob, @calumam and @leprechaun which is driving the per user engagement to a very high levels. Currently the average per user interaction is 9.47, which is up from previous week's 9.27.

This means every active user is posting at least 9 comments daily. There would be some who would be posting much more than 9 too.

Per user activity of 9.47 growing from the earlier 9.27 is an indicator of growing popularity of the proofofbrain. Now whether this activity is taking place from the front-end or through the tag is not really material till the time the users are engaged with the community. I think this has helped the community growth and also in the increased token prices. Fantastic stats mate.

It is really interesting to see how the community is growing so much pace. I guess I am on the right train for the first time in my life and hope I don't miss this train. I am building my small stake and want to grow here.

Can you also checkout if there are any investors with zero balances?
The reason I am asking you is because sometimes those who post on other tribes or on hive get these tokens for using the tag, but after a week when they see all liquid balance, they just sell it off but can still be seen as investors.
This may not reflect on the community properly. Your reports are wonderful and gives insights about how the community is marching ahead.Looking at your Wednesday reports, one thing is certain that #proofofbrain is no more a small community. There are more than 2800 investors, in my opinion this is a really good number for any blockchain project.

new post here.
Where I have made an attempt to answer the questions you have posed. Thanks for being so involved with my posts and raising such thought provoking questions.@coffeelovers, thank you for raising this question. Sometimes you get ideas to write new things on the platform because of the questions. While I was searching for the answer for how many Zero balance investors would be there I figured out that the POB Power is distributed unevenly and I made a post around the same and you can check my

Anyone can look this information up on the hive engine explorers. This is spam.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I would like to incorporate your suggestions into my study next time onwards. Can you please tell me the url of hive engine explorers you are mentioning your comment, where I can find the information about the comments made on #pob ? That would be really helpful.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Hey mate this is the rich-list and I have made a post on the total engagements and subscribers. If you can share the link where I can readily get these numbers, it would be really helpful for me to incorporate your suggestions in the next post.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

agree with @interpretation - I like these posts and never would go to explorer and check manually - these posts add value (at least for me), I rather considers this motivational posts copied from various web sources plus adding flavour how great PoB is are spam @phusionphil .

But all fine, anyone can do with their stake what they want.

Yeah, all is fine, I'm just going to say outlandish stuff in the comments to find more followers who like to live outside the grain of whatever film interpretation is trying to show us.

Good post.

The biggest and the most important number is the number of interactions. There are close to 5316 ( Last week 4811) interactions in this community - Growth of 10.5%.

This is what I focus on mostly.

5k is a great number but what you have to look for specifically is how many of these are being posted from proofofbrain front end itself ?

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Thank you very much @amr008 for this comment. I am so happy to see the response from the Chart King of Hive. Though I am currently not able to report the exact number of comments from the proofofbrain front end as I am comparing the data for last several weeks and reworking of the same would be a bit tedious task. But logically I agree that the number of comments from the front end alone can help us to understand the exact activity using the front-end rather than tag.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I only post from the ProofofBrain Front end now.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Is the interaction based on posts and comments? I'm not sure how much of an effect this week's WOTW would have had on overall engagement, although it's only be rolling for a few days. It'll be good to see the interaction stats next week to see how the full week was affected, or even from last Sunday to this coming Sunday.

I'm with @amr008 though, it would be good to see what the data is like for interactions directly in the #hive-150329 tag, that is a better look at dedicated POB engagement.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

There is no doubt that WOTW is making a very high impact on the growth story of the platform and the whole credit for the engagement around the word of the week goes to you. I made a different post where I analysed all the delegations given by you which definitely helped many budding contributors to be engaged with the platform.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

the whole credit for the engagement around the word of the week goes to you

I'm not the one who writes all the comments, lol. Group effort for sure.

I'm hoping to take the delegations to the next level with the new changes to the prize pool rewards starting next week. The plan is to have some form of hybrid reward where people get delegations for 30 days and if they show that they can put it to good use I'll convert it to solid stake.

I am sure you must be on the next "innovative" big thing. It would really be interesting to see how your next challenge takes up. Hopefully we see the next trend on POB just like POB-WOTW, which became so much popular on this forum.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I am sure you must be on the next "innovative" big thing.

one of his first POB posts; With the management of this new curation trail responsibility and the WOTW alongside it, I really don't have the capacity for anything else right now, lol. @fireguardian said it best in

To learn any trick you always need to start the move with one ball. After you learned that, you put the second ball. When that's easy, you put the third ball, and that's when the magic happen. The first time I got into crypto I tried to juggle five balls from the beginning, and of course it was a total failure.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

@fireguardian's post is like the philosophy of the crypto life we live. If we go on trying every new tribe, then we are definitely going to end up in mess. Currently, #POB is the only tribe I work with. I would also like to use my vote to distribute some happiness. So whoever comments on my posts, I try to acknowledge and reward. This is the least I am doing right now. But if you feel I could be of your help in any of your new projects, let me know.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I'm the same, I decided on that when I returned to the blockchain and I was fortunate enough to find this community in the first couple of days (talk about luck?).

But if you feel I could be of your help in any of your new projects, let me know.

I'll keep that in mind @interpretation, I've been wondering about making a statistical report about my curation efforts now that I'm leading a substantial curation trail. If you feel like following it along and making a report for that I am more than happy to support it (it's something that bores me to tears quite frankly, lol).

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Good to see that subscribers and participants in the community continue to increase week on week at a fairly consistent pace. Slow and steady.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

This is nice work. Thank you for laying all of this our for us.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Wow, This community is really taking off!
Is there a particular topic I should post about or is the community here more general?

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Hi Gubba, welcome to the community.

There are some specific issues that generate more rewards than others, but as @interpretation said, it is a generic community, feel free to post about anything you want.

One way for your post to get better curation is by posting straight from the proofofbrain front end and using the word proofofbrain as the first tag

If you have any doubts, do not hesitate to ask, and you can always mark me in any publication if you think it is necessary.

The contest that I am currently active in has a delegation of 100 POB, where the user makes a post on the topic of the week and one is drawn to win. 800 POBs have been delegated to date. If you want to check it out you can click here.

The community also has a channel on Discord, show up there.

P.s .: A clue for you. Promoting POB on your social networks can bring a great return to our community given the size of your influence on networks like instagram, twitter and tiktok. It would be content that would probably generate a high reward, we are all thinking daily about ways to publicize the community so that it has more supporters, but we don't have (at least not that I know of) someone with enough numbers for that as you have.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Thank you for the welcome Vempromundo and for the tips! I'll be using the proofofbrain front more often still getting use to the tribes and what content goes where. Glad to hear this is a place I can share everything I do :)

Posted via proofofbrain.io

This is a generic community and there is no specific topic to be discussed here. People write so many things here on this platform, but if you are looking for some quick things to write then I would recommend you to take a look at the @calumam @fireguardian and @vempromundo accounts. They keep coming with certain challenges for the new comers and they also delegate certain pob power to the winners. I guess this would be a good beginning.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

This sounds great thank you!

Posted via proofofbrain.io

This is cool stuff! Also feels like I am part of something that is just starting to take off. What I like most about this space is that people actually make an effort to write! 😊
Looking forward to seeing these weekly check in’s!

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Thank you for your encouraging words. Yes and this is the place where most of the authors and contributors actually try to create some innovative content and post it here. It is really awsome community.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Yup! Completely agree :)

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Me alegro mucho de que este creciendo esta comunidad.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Very nice steady progression of new investors that's always a big plus as well!

Nice to see the pob community growing on a steady pace. Great reporting
