My last entry to the #POBPhotocontest was truthfully lacking in the very thing the photo was to show...water. Due to an ongoing drought in my area, I had to settle for photographing a small puddle.
The theme of this week's POB photo challenge by @friendlymoose is CLOUDS, and this theme presents the opposite problem. We currently have clouds every day, but there are so many that the sky just looks grey, without distinctive clouds. Luckily, the clouds broke apart during our first "summer concert in the park," and I was able to capture the image you see. The band, Radio Journey - A Tribute to Journey, was actually quite entertaining, and we had several good food trucks to choose from for supper.
I took this picture with my iPhone XR, and edited it in GIMP in order to bring out the mascot on the back of a chair. I'm sure all my Texans/Southerners out there will recognize him.
