I really love this topic a lot because it makes me remember the incident that happened to my downlines few weeks ago. Ever Since have joined the community have successfully bring two members to the community. Even though the more time they spent in the community the more they get use to it but something is always lacking between them. The both of them are friends which is why I'm able to register them at one's.
I tried to explain how things work in the community to them such as, you can't be given the same reward or rating and also you must be mindful of your write up, making sure is not copywrite and finally making sure is interesting to read. The most surprising thing is that ever since they've started their post, the relationship between them has reduced. I began to take a closer look then I discovered that there is DISCORD among the both of them.
I called the two of them and ask them what's really going on with them, the main cause of the DISAGREEMENT is that the way they receive reward in a single post, one always have a high reward while the other have a low reward. This has caused disagreement between them, to the extent that they don't really greet each other again, one of them even tried to transfer the other person reward, which is a very MALICIOUS act.
The way I'm looking the situation I noticed that they both have WEAKNESS (FRAILTY)the weakness of one is that his always getting low reward which is then main reason of envying the one getting high reward and also make him to keep malice with the other.
All these happens to most of us even me, getting low reward on HIVE alway weaken someone, because to think about the stress you go through to post a particular content and later get low reward, but in the midst of the weakness let's find strength and we should always encourage ourself not to engage in any disagreement or keeping malice.

thats sad to hear that 2 of your friends have animosity towards each other over something that neither of them can control.
The one who is lacking in rewards should look at what content the other is posting, and examine what the differences in-between their posts are.. likely it is the fact that the one receiving a low ammount of upvotes is not using tags properly in order to get their posts in front of as many eyeballs as possible.
