Most fruit bearing plants go dormant during the fall but a few remain productive. The English holly is one of them. This plant is not native to the area but was introduced from abroad, likely by overeager gardeners, and is now considered an invasive species. It loves shady forests in temperate and subtropical regions, where apparently they crowd out the resident species. It sure looks nice when the berries spring while every one else around is dormant or in evergreen bliss. The moist rainforest environment is ideal for its growth and expansion.

The flower is small but so beautiful for its red color.

The red bits are the berries. They're small, round, and have a deep red colour.

It's the famous Christmas mistletoe, isn't it? Or it looks like it and it's beautiful!!!
