What would it mean for machines to replace us?

It’s already happening as we all know, at first machines replaced animals for transportation and now humans in the bank and all of their work areas. It is advantageous because it has contributed in the fast growth of civilization across the world, for example in the automobile industries, it would take machines to produce at least 50 times the car that humans would produce in a day, likewise every other industry, however the rate of unemployment has steadily increased as many people are been replaced.

Machines can surely replace people in the aspect of strength and speed but would never replace people in the aspect of intelligence, this means that the only people who would keep being relevant are people who broadens their intelligence.

2: If machines could do all the work that is currently being done, would there be no work left for humans to do?

Sure there would still be works for humans, it might seem like lazy work, but it would definitely be work that has to do with intelligence, if machines can do the work, then people who can create or advance them would always be needed, people who can control them would as well be needed, for example, someone who designs an aircraft or an engineer who creates it might not be good at piloting it. Although the aircraft does the work but someone would always be there to advance the technology and another people to control or supervise it.

3: What should be done about the progression of innovation, and what should be done for the people that are displaced along the way?

Presently I don’t think anything can be done to stop the increasing growth of innovation, I would only advise the people who are been replaced to work on their personal intelligence, the world has moved from the ages where having strength to work can make someone relevant everywhere. Brains rules the word now.
