A quick question..will POB start to give the option to turn off rewards again ?(in comments)..the option seems to have disappeared... (or on the new one, vyb)
My rep score keeps eroding away with all the d/v - slowly - but only because my rep is so high - so I 'm not gonna be commenting on POB (or vyb).
....And will rep scores be affected by posting on vyb ?
Being controlled ain't my idea of being free...funny that..lol
We are proactively working on ways to ensure that folks can earn VYB while also protecting their rep score from intentional degradation by Hive downvotes.
There will be at least two ways to do that. I'm not 100% certain about whether turning off rewards for comments will be available initially. If it isn't, we will make adding that feature a top priority.

As you stated, the new POB front end doesn't possess that capability. I am not sure what efforts have been made in this area. However, that such a function must be restored. I'll update you on the status. I expect to receive status within one day, hopefully.
Verify Your Brain
Verify your brain will have the DV function disabled. The option to turn off post and comment rewards will be enabled as reported by @trostparadox.
