First of all , what is pride??

Well i consider pride to be when an individual have a high opinion of his or her own dignity, his or her importance, his or her merit, or his or her own superiority, whether as something that they cherish in their mind or as the individual display in their conduct , bearing, etc.

Having pride itself is not a bad idea , infact one needs to show their pride especially when they are doing great things in their endeavours and have achieved alot..

But there is a very thin line between pride and arrogance , too much pride can make a person have too much ego which leads to over-bloated self importance which causes arrogance..

There is nothing bad in displaying pride but it should be done in excess , excess pride can lead to arrogance if it is not curtailed..

Many people while displaying their pride tend to go overboard and they begin to display traits of unnecessary arrogance without knowing that they are displaying it..

Too much of pride can also make a person to stop having willingness to gain more knowledge and understanding and experience concerning various aspects of life simply because they assume that they KNOW IT ALL..

Many people tend to mix up pride and arrogance , they think pride is a form of arrogance on its own , well pride its not a form of arrogance but pride can lead to arrogance if the pride becomes too excessive..
