WHY I CHOSE TO WRITE THIS WAY
In most cases, I don't love sharing my feelings publicly whether pain or joy to be celebrated on the internet or any social media platform. I would rather bottle them up and let them bypass me. If it's something that worth broaching about, or something so disheartening that can tussle me traumatically or put my life at stake; that's when I would find myself informing my closest friends about my current predicament, or better still, weave them into Poetry and encode them poetically. By this means, I present them to the world or readers without sentiments — believe me or not, I don't present my bad situations as they are in Poetic Writing, I make them look quite striking, and also try much as possible to dodge sentimentality. But lately, I couldn't channel my recent predicaments and dissatisfactions into a Poem, I began to present them raw in a plain language — prosaic form of writing, since there is nothing wrong in putting out your feelings on the internet, and it's not a new thing. Some people are experiencing the same issue you're facing or even more — whether good or bad, it's just the way of presenting them that matter. Well, prosaic form suits good; it's a quick way of presenting any life story.
DISAPPOINTEDNESS AND DISSATISFACTION WITH PEOPLE CLAIMING TO BE YOUR FRIEND
Finally effaced some numbers (close to 500 contacts this year) to diminish some prying eyes on my ‘WhatSapp Status’ and got rid of some ‘WhatSapp Numbers' — no hard feelings at all. You know, some people are just on-lookers amongst others, and some are just accumulating contacts not for any business purpose, but for commendation and for the sake of status viewership — they won't upload any reasonable thing to better anyone, rather than dull and mundane things about shawarma joint, party, club, expensive lifestyle disposition and quotes that ostentate their ambitions to make people envious of them, meanwhile they are just riffraff who doesn't have any good thing to show forth about themselves. Now, I meant to redirect this to some Nigerian girls who would rather date guys who are into scamming or any illegal dealings, because of the great deal of money they would get from their spoil. These people (girls) want to enjoy the moment, live life to the fullest, forgetting the repercussion that follows after. I have these people as friends, how I met some of them, is what I couldn't recollect.
Anyway, It's so unfortunate to see some of people growing up to something else which their parents are not really proud of (hardly will you see a Nigerian Parent proud of this act). There's no single day on their status I won't see them uploading their daily activities on WhatSapp Status about outings and night parties they recently undergone. They have chosen the illegal way of extorting money from people. The truth is, most of these people you know so well when things are so difficult for them, and you tend to help them when you're in position to give a helping hand, but when they get hold of money, you're nothing to them — they forget you and also lose sight of you.
