Hi Dwinblood75,
Thanks for your post, and especially the graphics you shared.
#1) You say, “I think the #matrix8 initiative sounds like it has potential. I wrote one post about anonymity already where addresses some concerns about being anonymous.”
Dwinblood, please see my piece entitled, Trusted Reputation, at https://peakd.com/hive-153630/@atma.love/trusted-reputation?ref=atma.love. I hope it increases your consideration that the M-8 system has potential. I'd like to hear your take on it.
#2) You say, “Potential problem...
Is it possible to move your position within the Matrix8?”
And then you later offer a solution, when you say, “Now one way I can think to potentially resolve this would be if several of your connected nodes are randomly/pseudo randomly swapped out so that there are always changes to your matrix8 group on at least a small amount. Then there would be changes to the group over time that would hopefully make this a non-issue.”
Consider it a non-issue!
There are constant changes during the Deliberations sequence – the larger the Group, the more changes to be expected. And they are by no means random. Every so often – when Deliberations seem stalled – Participants will request a reordering of 8-PACs. If you think of the M-8 Solution as an agreement factory, then you can appreciate that it is a dynamic system attuned to always grouping 8-PACs to attain the greatest amount of agreement possible.
At the change points, all 8-PACs are dissolved, questionnaires are given to create greater agreements, plus every Participant grades the performance of their 7 Peers in their old 8-PAC. I say 'old' 8-PAC because after the questionnaires are collated, any bad apples are sidelined, and then all the Participants are regrouped by their agreements into new 8-PACs established on the 1st Level. If the number of Participants in the Group had reached the 5th Level, then, those levels would be recreated level by level as the Participants reach agreements and chose Deputies to carry their messages to the forming higher levels.
The process of Deliberations and reformations continues until a Business Plan is agreed on and funded. If that doesn't happen, and folks lose interest, then the Cause Group will disband.
I hope I answered your questions,
John Huckel
Thank you for the response. I read the article/post. I will need to think on it and do some more research/reading.
It turns out when I had been exposed to the initial writings on the subject and I wrote this post my father in-law who lives with us became ill and ended up passing away. During that time I completely forgot about this project, and even my post. Life sometimes has a way of kicking us in the rear and making us look at other things for awhile. This is not always a good thing.
