Welcome to Tug-A-War!
This is a simple game with a chance of reward to help you create a quality post each week. When you need something as a catalyst: Enter Tug-A-War.
Tug-A-War is a tag battle that is played weekly. Every Friday, the HiveFive Community selects two tags to battle. At the end of the week, there is a tag winner based on the number of interactions. Here's a Post To The First Tug-A-War..
So this week our battle tags are Chicken or Duck. Write a post in relation to the tag and then add either the #Chicken or #Duck the tag to your post.
For example, post a great chicken recipe in Foodies Bee Hive community or a post about Furious chicken in Splinterlands community. Or if you want Duck to win the Tug-A-War, write a tech article on the browser Duck, Duck, Go in Proof of Brain, or post about raising ducks in Hargo community. Whatever the post, use the tag that is appropriate for either Chicken or Duck.
Then what happens?
HiveFive monitor all the times Chicken or Duck are used as a tag on the Hive Blockchain for the week. The tag that is used most often is the Tug-A-War winner. The contest starts each Friday and ends on Thursday.
So that's great and fun.
To make it even more fun, we have a weekly contest at HiveFive. Put a link to your post in the comments below. We randomly select one post for each tag at the end of the week and delegate 100 HP for 1 week to your account from @methodofmad .
Rules: (Let's keep it simple)
The contest is for new post made the week of the contest. If you write more than one post in a week about the same tag, you can add each post in a separate comment below.
The tag that you are supporting must be used. Don't put both tags on one post. And only use a tag where the post is relevant to the tag.
Feel free to make your original post in the community that best suits your subject content and, if you so desire, cross-post to HiveFive (cross-post is not a requirement) but don't forget, to enter the contest by placing a link to your post in the comments below.
That's pretty much it. Feel free to comment on how we can improve the game or suggest tag battles in the future.
FAQs
Can I add the tag of the week to all my posts?
You could but it skews the data. We like for the tag to be relevant to the post. And we review the post links in comment to see that the tag is relevant.
Do I need to upvote or reblog this post?
Not a requirement at all, but feel free to do either if you are so inclined.
What does HiveFive do with the weekly Tug-A-War data?
We post the results of the game, but we are only doing this for fun and community engagement. This is a Kite for us.
