If God controls everything we do, then in the study of God there will be no written instructions to us, and terms like obedience and repentance wouldn't exist. Since we'll be automated to never disobey.
Fate plays it's role, I believe.
Like where we are born, our parents etc.
How much of advantage we take of our surrounding environment is entirely left to us.
What will count would be what we did with our fate.
Ultimately we are fate determiners
