10$ 😱 for a normal ginger, that's like too much. In India we would get it at 3$. In your place it must be getting imported and hence it's so expensive. Then there is Chinese ginger which we get here in Oman and that's like around 1$ a kg, but it is very different and you can make out, it barely has any nutritional properties in it.
