what is your opinion about giving priority to your me-time over your children.

Just like everyone else would say, no doubt children are gift from God and a wonderful blessing to parents, asking about my opinion about giving priority to my me-time over my children?, Now I have to speak like a father even though am not, with utmost sincerity it may be almost impossible prioritising my me-time over my children, my reason?,
Firstly; Because my children will be all I have to live for (though my wife inclusive 😄), children needs parental care which goes a very long way for their mental well-being, as a matter of fact parents will always be the first love of their children, so why won't I prioritize them over my me-time.
Secondly; children on their own can't get alot of things done by themselves (like education, choosing the right path of life)unless they are guided by a parent or guardian which were parental role comes to play again,
Thirdly; children always learn and emulate from their parents. as a good father which I will like to be, I want to teach my children things they can't learn from school, and for me to do it I need to prioritize them over my me-time, hope you get the point now?..

No doubt, it's true that as a parent I need to take out times for myself but not to prioritize it over my children, not at all...

Thanks for reading... #cotw

I respect your opinion, I personally feel we must take out some time for ourselves because if we are happy, its easier for us to keep our children happy. But yes, children need attention because they are dependent on us and can't do almost anything on their own for a long time.
