The argument has always been that it is not censored as it is still on the blockchain and can be found.
Yet things can be financially censored, and they can be visibility reduced/oppressed.
While it is true they cannot be completely censored that is mostly semantics and word games to allow them to do distasteful things.
It has been a problem for a very long time and nobody is allowed to talk about it. Or you are censured.
Well partially because if we want to remain decentralized there is not a particularly good way to solve it that won't centralize power, and/or easily be defeated by using multiple accounts.
I tried to come up with a solution. I never could come up with one that wouldn't introduce centralization, make the problem worse, or be easily bypassable.
Agreed. We have to just learn to live with all the power being in the hands of 1 or 2 Hive whales. Nothing can be done to change this. Resistance is futile. Submit or die. It’s not worth the fight.
You can fight. You just can't enforce it. You can fight with words.
I've seen it make a difference before.
I've also seen it not make a difference.
It depends upon the whale, and how convincing your words are.
The true test is to now see if I am suddenly targeted.
