Don't see this topic as any how, it's meant for both guys and ladies......noone is expectional. This writeup is very important and essential for both guys and ladies, it's the joy of the woman when her man knows something about menstrual cycle.
Menstrual cycle is a phase used to denote the order of activity that occurs in the woman's body in order to prepare the woman's body for any possible pregnancy. The menstrual cycle is a activated by the fluctuation of certain hormones ( Estrogen and Progesterone), the average menstrual cycle ranges from 23-30 days...although, menstrual cycle can range from 21-35 days. There can be some expections in the range of menstrual cycle in some woman due to some factors like, difference in hormones activity, type of diet, underlying health condition.
Menstruation is the shedding-off of the thickened lining of the uterus/ womb through the vagina, in the absence of pregnancy, Basically, the average age at which a girl starts menstruating at age 12-13, however some girls begins menstruating as early as age 8 and some girls begins late as 16-18. The stage at which a woman stops menstruating is referred to as Menopause which occurs averagely between age 45-55. The menstrual cycle is divided into four phase, which are:
menstrual phase.
the follicular phase.
the ovulation phase.
luteal phase
As these are normal menstrual cycle, there are also problems associated with menstrual cycle. Take note that, the phase "normal menstrual cycle" means something different in women, so there are problem associated with menstrual cycle like menstrual cramp.
Menstrual cramp are normal, before a woman sees her period, which occurs as a result of the uterus contracting. It becomes a problem, when the pain is extreme which maybe caused by hereditary or an underlying medical condition like PID ( Pelon Inflammatory Disease), Fiberiod e.t.c
Another problem associated with menstrual period is Abnormal period or irregular period, this is when a woman do no get her period when she's supposed to ....can be referred to as AMENORRHEA. After decting menstrual problems, the next necessary step to be taken is to go see a Gynecologist so as to lodge the abnormalities in the menstrual period which will help the doctor figure out what the abnormalities could be. The doctor can the go further with some examination through the complain lodged like Pelon examination, blood text e.t.c.
