Cooking is a stress reliever for me. I love to cook whatever is in the refrigerator. I'm good at cleaning out whatever we have too much of. For years my wife has tried to stop me from cooking because she says it is a waste of time. Nowadays she is beginning to see that cooking calms me down. I just like to chop stuff with big knives. You will see if you try.

We have too many potatoes. I made hash browns and then stew. I have an oven and make pizza and bread and lasagna and desserts. I cook mostly because I love cooking but I'm not so good at cleaning up.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Thanks for sharing that scene, it's such a good one. Gonna have to rewatch it, been too long!

For me I cook when I have time but I try to clean up during as much as possible so I can do other stuff after dinner

Posted via proofofbrain.io

You are very wise. My stuff gets piled up and then I don't want to clean.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Me too... I clear parallelly because I can't work in a messed up kitchen. I like my kitchen perfectly clean, with no stains on the shelf, shiny and bright. I can sleep in my kitchen too, that's my love for my kitchen.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

That means you will get to beat me up if I stay with you because I mess up kitchen a lot and feels lazy to clean it up 😆😆 .

I do cook but Cleaning the kitchen is where I have issues.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

That makes two of us now. I don't even think I could enter that kitchen of @sugahaseth. It seems to be a holy place.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Haha, kitchen is my favourite place for sure.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Haha, may be. You can talk to my husband about it, LOL

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I had a discussion with a chef yesterday and he taught me the importance of cleaning while working. It makes the clean up at the end a lot easier.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Cleaning the kitchen is very important. It's basic hygeine you see. If you are not cleaning, you are actually ingesting all the dirt which is not good. And a cook or a chef can never give you a good dish in a dirty kitchen.

And it's not only about clening the mess, it's also about using good equipments, knives, pans, having a nice and powerful chimney an a hob tob. All these things add up and result in a good dish.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I cook a meal that will last three days. I keep many ingredients ready to make a recipe quick when I got too many works with short deadlines.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

That's a great plan @oadissin.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

That's good to hear that you like cooking. What breads do you make? I also bake bread, i made braided onion bread last week and my husband loved it.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Wow. I never braided onion bread in my life @sugandhaseth. The last time I made bread it was banana bread and a peach cobbler. If I'm going to bake then I end up making it sweet. I also make bread for sandwiches. In the fall I will start baking again. I like to use whatever ingredients we have left over and make something yummy. It doesn't always work, but I try ^^

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I also use the left over lentils and veggies to make sandwiches. Just mix them up with some sauces and fresh veggies and they taste so yumm.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Nice one. You are a good cook

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Thanks @abimbola753,

I appreciate your comment. To me it is interesting to see how different words have different meanings in different countries. Just like different foods have special meanings in each country. For example in Korea noodles are served at a weeding because noodles are long they are to represent long life.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Thoigh i can cook but i dont cook group food

Posted via proofofbrain.io

lol, that means u cool alone and eat alone

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Cooking for other people is part of the joy of cooking. I don't cook as well when I know I am the only one eating.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Cooking is very neutral to me. I don't like it or dislike it I just do it because I have to.

I prefer to make cocktails instead of cooking so when I'm partying with friends I'm usually in charge of drinks and I leave the cooking to someone who actually likes it hehe

I love eating though!

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Yeah, sometimes I go like that too... I don't know about doing cocktails, but I like to drink them!! I like to eat too... hahahaha thanks for your reply!!

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I like cooking so much and I am good at cooking many dishes , I also learn new recipes from YouTube whenever i want to learn something new in recipes.

I cook veg and non veg as well and my family likes Biryani , Naan puri and paneer , chicken changezi , korma etc made by me.

Cooking is my passion 😋

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Wow, I didn't know a lot of the dishes you said, now I "know", thanks for your reply!!!

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I do not like to cook at all. Let me also state this, I know how to cook but I do not enjoy it one bit. Cooking is just generally stressful for me

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Wow, why? If you don't mind answer it...

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Is a nice thing to cook but some of the men don't have that kind of patient when it come to cooking ..

in particular as I speak for myself the love I have for cooking was so fantastic but when ever I cooked something like rice before it get done I finished have of it on fire.

That is why i prefer buying food for outside or someone cooking for me,because I enjoy it more if I do that.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

to be honest , i really don't know much about cooking and i don't cook many things.
There are some limited items that i am aware of and that i have cooked for myself oftenly.

I can prepare noodles , tea , coffee , i have tried chapati but failed miserably and that's all i know , lol 😂.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Well, I think cooking, like so many other things, is all about pratice, so, keep praticing, with time I bet that you get better in it!! Thanks for your reply!!!

Posted via proofofbrain.io

HELLO friend I love cooking since I can remember, creating new recipes and innovating in food is something that gives me hope, it is not for nothing but in my family the best chef is me (HAHAHA) we all have to plan a meeting and share dishes.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Nicely said!! And nice ¡plato de comida!

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Cooking has never been my thing. Never like to cook. Not because I'm that bad when it comes to cooking but I really impatient and don't have time going back and forth the kitchen and spending hours on a meal I will finish in less than five minutes. I'd prefer buying already cooked food or someone else cooking for me :-)

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I was too impatient to cook too until my work relocated me to a place where there are literally nobody offering takeaway cooked food service. Restaurants were so expensive like for a month double my house rent. I learned on youtube how to make simple meals so fast, I could believe it myself. An empty stomach is a powerful stimulus that lead to in my case the habit to cook.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Pressure cooking sometimes gives the best dishes, trust me!

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Lol for me sometimes I starve myself instead of cooking a meal. I eat junk most of the time

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Well Only if find my self in similar situation like this (wish I don't hope for), then maybe I will have to learn patience the hard way by doing more cooking ;-).

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Well Only if find my self in similar situation like this (wish I don't hope for), then maybe I will have to learn patience the hard way and do some more cooking ;-).

Posted via proofofbrain.io

but that is not nice enough, I will like to know, what if u are in a situation where the only option is to cook ur own food what would u do

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Don't get me wrong, I cook occasionally (Them 3-5 minutes meal most time) as I don't like wasting time in the kitchen.

what if u are in a situation where the only option is to cook ur own food what would u do

In that situation, I guess I'll just have to learn to adjust.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

That is the best thing

Posted via proofofbrain.io

So who cooks for you @jersteemit?

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I eat from them restaurants or eateries.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

All the 3 meals?? Not happening dude.

All the 3 meals?? Not happening dude.

Yeah all three most of the time. Infact I just got my take away snacks for the night minutes ago :-). I know this is one terrible habit but I guess I'll adjust in time or wait till I get married to change from this lifestyle.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Ya your wife will make you cook 😆

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I bet she will :-). Even if she does, it will be a occasional thing from me as I wouldn't want to be hanging around the kitchen every time.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Ya your wife will make you cook 😆

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Yeah, cooking takes time, sometimes I don't like to cook too.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I also like to cook. Especially when I am working out, I usually prepare my own meals. Oats, soup, chicken salad, rice etc😋

Posted via proofofbrain.io

good to know that about you , i hope to adapt this good habit from you.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I prefer cooking food that will be consumed by only me too. I dont like people criticising my cooking

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Now. Starting to suspect your cooking skills mate.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Cooking is my favorite. I just posted a new recipe of Sesame seeds ladoo. Its a sweet i prepared for my 9month old son and he loved them.

Cooking is an absolute stress buster for me. It's a sister's 10th anniversary this Saturday and I am planning to bake a red velvet layered cake for her. So excited, can't wait!

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Cooking is some thing that calms me too. And I like to make cakes sometimes too. I hope that everything went well last Saturday!! Thanks for your reply!!

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Hey @paulo.sar How are you?

Yes it was all so good. Last minute, I invited all my cousins to celebrate my sister's anniversary. It was so much fun. We partied till 4:30 AM in the morning and then the next day went lazy in hangover.

Had this kind of a part almost after an year. And it was so much fun.

In general terms I'm fine, thanks for asking! How are you?

Nice, I need to participate in a party too, but with the covid situation in my country, I will only do that when everyone is vaccinated... being lazy after partying is nice, I feel the need to do that too... someday...

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I can not cook, Do you live alone?

Posted via proofofbrain.io

But honestly cooking is very easy. It is a matter of creating tome for it

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Cooking is easy and with so many you tube channels these days for recipes, it's a cake walk. Just follow the recipe and techniques blindly and you can make a great dish.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Maybe i will try to cook something watching it how to prepare from YouTube.
YouTube has almost everything on it , we just need to find it and do it.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I will try to by watching youtube videos. Thanks for your suggestion.

Good to see you say that mate, I can cook but am a lazy a*s.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

It is just a matter of determination.

Really are you kidding me 😳😳🤭. Surprised to see you say you don't know how to cook.

There must be something you can cook up in the kitchen lol how about your favorite food.

I will advice you try do some maths in the kitchen and add things together the way you reason it in your head am sure you will be successful in the kitchen 😜😜😜 good luck.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

I like cooking, though I feel so lazy to cook sometimes.

Is so funny that I don't feel motivated to cook until I'm so so hungry that my stomach start biting me lol, that's how lazy I'm before I start cooking.

I love cooking pasta is my best and fast cooking though, I cook yam and egg source, my native soup (Oha), beans (my favorite),rice and source.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Pasta is nice!! And stoped eating eggs a long time ago, but they are nice too!! I eat beans, with rice almost everyday, it's a traditional dish in Brazil. Thanks for your reply!!

Posted via proofofbrain.io

For me cooking is my hobby is cooking i love doing this every time.

Posted via proofofbrain.io

Nice!! Cooking could be good when we like it!! Thanks for your reply!!

Posted via proofofbrain.io
